Travel Anecdotes
Old people say that having a mole in your feet means you have a wandering soul who would always be going to new places either to visit old friends or meet new ones and collect trinkets of experiences along the way. This blog is my way of sharing that wandering feet and searching soul.

The worst co-passenger on a plane
Recently i went back to jakarta for a business trip. It was a short trip and much to my surprise i had fun and for the first time, i truly enjoyed the food of jakarta. I also liked where i stayed, a small guesthouse but has hotel-like facilities, except for the non-existent wireless connection. I guess there has to be one thing that will not make you happy.
Well i thot that was the only thing i would not like in this trip. But alas, something or should i say someone did manage to make my return plane ride so uncomfy that i almost wanted to shout to the pilot, can you please stop and i'll wait for the next flight. LOL! I had the misfortune of sitting beside this passenger who all throughout the flight did only three things: picked his nose (about half of the time), eat the food served to him (about 5 minutes only), and scratched his head (the other half). It was really so yucky and so rude that i was so tempted to ask to be seated somewhere else. I had to hide behind the Strait Times and managed to finish reading it from cover to cover. LOL! I thot i had seen the worst when i had a co-passenger before on an Air India flight that took off his shoes and lie down and made use of the empty seat as well beside me. I was horrified back then and i am more horrified now with this guy. It did not help that he looked a bit scary so I dare not even look at his face. I wished i could have an excuse to take a photo of him picking his nose so i could send it to SIA and tell them to please make sure i dont get to travel with this guy much less seat beside him next time i travel to jakarta. I could not even eat my food during the flight.
What about you? What was your worst co-passenger?

First overseas trip for 'Posh'
Recently I managed to find a bag holder. I just liked this so much that it is always inside my bag. It joined about 10 other stuff as part of my 'must haves' before I go out of the house. And it is so useful and makes dining out and seating in cramped spaces cool as I can now hang my bag and not worry about dirty carpets, dirty floors and falling bags or leaving it behind. This I think is the second best invention, next to internet. I just hope it was a woman who first thought of making this bag holder.
Now I will include chronicles of 'Posh'- a nickname for my bag holder as she travels in this blogsite. Her first trip was to Hanoi, Vietnam last December 28-31, 2008.
